The new Axone Pad and Palm is an advanced display unit, compatible with all the TEXA diagnostic interfaces used in the workshop. Additional devices or PCs are not necessary to display the data of the different diagnostic modules. All the information will be available in one single handheld unit using a single program.
AXONE Pad is a mobile device of reduced dimension, specific designed to perform reliably in tough workshop environments.It’s a portable PC focused on high quality components and production processes. The use of durable nylon bodies ensure resistance to shocks and falls, and water and dust proof gaskets, make the unit impermeable to water, oil and solvents.It is also fitted with the new generation of anti-glare and high brightness touch screen monitor which guarantees perfect visibility in all conditions.
Big care has been devoted to AXONE Pad power supply: it has a last generation lithium ion battery and thus with a higher energy than the one given by the common nickel batteries , and with different autonomy and weight. The lithium ion battery can be recharged in any moment, without waiting for the battery to be completely exhausted.
Axone Palm is a mobile device similar to a Pocket PC, but with advanced technical characteristics and innovative features. The daily use of a complex and delicate instrument such as a Pocket PC needs specific design features to ensure reliability over time. For this reason TEXA technicians have developed the AXONE Palm, focusing on high quality components and production processes. They have created a small and light Pocket PC, able to perform reliably in tough workshop environments. The use of durable nylon bodies ensure resistance to shocks and falls, and water and dust proof gaskets, make the unit impermeable to water, oil and solvents. It satisfies the military specifications MIL-STD-810, for devices designed to take repeated drops from a height of more than 1 metre. It is also fitted with the new generation of anti-glare, high brightness touch screen monitor, which guarantees perfect visibility in all conditions.
Axone Pad and palm also includes a colour camera and a lithium battery with a capacity double than the traditional pocket PCs. It connects to all TEXA devices and to any hardware interface via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless technology A printer (Print Server) will be available and will be connected via Bluetooth to AXONE Palm. In this way all the instruments in the workshop will use a single printer unit to print the documents of the various performed tests.
